Light finds a way

While working on this piece, I realized I wasn’t just layering paint —

I was layering opposites.

Light and dark.

Stillness and movement.

Chaos and calm.

And somewhere in between, two butterflies emerged.

One white. One black. Hidden in plain sight.

They weren’t planned — they arrived like a quiet message.

The white butterfly speaks of hope. Of renewal.

That soft whisper that says: begin again.

The black butterfly holds a different kind of strength.
