Hello, I’m Ellen De Vylder, an artist based in Belgium near the city of Antwerp.

I’m endlessly fascinated by colour, movement, and the quiet stories hidden within them. In my work — both abstract and figurative — I let go of literal reality and follow emotion instead.

 

Each painting is a layered reflection of how I experience the world: soft textures, subtle gold accents, and symbolic details inspired by moments, light, and memory. My figurative pieces explore human presence and connection; my abstract works express the feelings that lie beneath.
