ABOUT 

Ellen De Vylder   

Ellen is a self-taught abstract artist based in Bornem, Belgium where she lives with her husband and 2 boys.

As an only child she remembers spending her time drawing and crafting for several hours at her desk in her room.

​

She has always been attracted to art, but also intimidated by it.

The past years, Ellen kept her love for painting and drawing only as a hobby. About 2 years ago, she felt the need to express herself freely and to enjoy abstract art. Inspired by her love for nature, lifestyle and fashion, she started experimenting with different colours, mediums and techniques.
